Tools To Go – Under New Ownership
Tools To Go is now proudly under new ownership. While the brand may be familiar, everything behind the scenes has changed – including the team (we have retained some of the former staff who have deep product knowledge and experience), service, and commitment to our customers. We’ve acquired the rights to the Tools To Go name, but we are a wholly separate business.
If you’re a past customer with outstanding issues related to orders, warranties, or service before our takeover, we want to be as helpful as possible – but please understand that we are unable to process refunds, returns, or complaints for actions taken by the previous company.
That said, we’re here to support you with any questions and to offer a much-improved experience going forward. Below, you’ll find answers to the most frequently asked questions about this change.
What happened to UKHS – are you the same company?
UKHS (UK Home Shopping Ltd) has gone into administration and ceased trading on 27th February 2025. Tools To Go, along with some of the assets of UKHS, is now under new ownership. We are not connected to the previous company or its management, and we did not take over their liabilities.
Are you the same people who ran UKHS?
No, the previous UKHS business has ceased trading. Tools To Go is now under new ownership, and we are, for the most part, a completely new team. However, we have retained some of the former staff who have deep product knowledge and experience – helping us deliver the best possible service moving forward. We’re committed to honest communication, improved service, and a fresh start for the Tools To Go brand.
I received a faulty item from UKHS – can you help?
While we did not supply the original item, we do offer a paid repair service for faulty products purchased from UKHS. Please get in touch with us to discuss available options.
Will you honour warranty claims for items purchased from UKHS?
No. As we are a completely new business entity, we are unable to honour any UKHS warranties or guarantees issued before our takeover.
I want a refund or replacement for something I bought from UKHS. What should I do?
You’ll need to contact your original payment provider (e.g. your bank, credit card provider, or PayPal) to initiate a chargeback or payment dispute.

Unfortunately, we do not have access to any UKHS records, systems, or customer order history, so we are unable to assist with past issues related to the previous company.
I never received my UKHS order – can you send it or issue a refund?
We understand how frustrating that must be. However, since the original order was made with UKHS and not with us, you’ll need to contact your bank or payment provider for further assistance.

I was in the middle of a dispute or return with UKHS – what happens now?
Unfortunately, we are unable to continue or resolve disputes that were opened with UKHS. Please contact your bank or card provider for advice on recovering your funds.

Can I return a product to you now?
If your purchase was made before the transfer of ownership on 31/03/2025, we are unfortunately unable to accept returns, as this relates to the previous company (UKHS).
If your order was placed after 31/03/2025, please get in touch with us via email, and we’ll guide you through the returns process as outlined on our Returns Policy page.
Can I visit your location in person?
We already have a location in Mansfield and are currently in the process of setting up the store. Sign up to our email list and we’ll let you know as soon as we’re ready to open our doors.
What are your business hours for customer support?
Currently, we are operating email-only customer support, and we aim to respond as promptly as possible during business hours:
Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Do you have a customer service phone line?
Not at the moment. We are working on setting this up, but for now, please reach out via email sales@toolstogo.co.uk.
Can I place an order by phone?
No – we’re currently not offering phone sales. All orders should be placed directly through our website.
Will Tools To Go be selling the same products UKHS used to sell?
Yes, we’ll be offering many of the same great products that UKHS customers know and love – with even more new products coming soon!
